You may be wondering to yourself "what the fuck is a forum?" or "is this what old people use?" and the answer is this: a forum is a virtual place in which one can post topics and make comments in response to facilitate discussion. In the scope of an RP community, it is one way in which a story can be advanced among one or more players, weaving a beautiful story together. In the case of Sparkalia, the region uses a Discord Forum board to help keep track of RP whether it is planning one out or making posts itself.
What is an OOC Post?
An OOC Post, or an Out Of Character Post, is one that isn't for the RP you're writing. Typically, these can be ones that discuss plans and backstory for your RP, as well as other notes or just general commentary in response to someone else's OOC. These are only posted to the ooc forum board.
