From Bet to Breakthrough: The Story of the Cat Breeder Turned Catologist
Chat Studio of Artane Nufsormation
In the interview studio there is Artane Nufsormation Science Journalist Alphonse Brousseau, dressed in a blue suit symbolizing science, with a black bow tie around his neck. On the wall, in front of the journalist's desk, there is a screen on which there is a 4k broadcast from the office of a little-known vet from Artane, wearing a bathrobe and holding a cute kitten on his lap, which, however, does not lean out. You can see his ears moving quietly.
-Veterinarian Jordan Gachet, I must say that it is very nice to meet you in such extraordinary circumstances! Probably not everyone had the opportunity to hear it, but it came to my ears that you won a very strange bet with the Dean of the Veterinary Department, who officially taught you the first in our country, and maybe in the world...Catologist.-
The vet smiled and took a gentle sip of tea.
-To say I'm proud is like saying nothing. For many years I worked as a veterinarian, first accepting clients in their homes, and later setting up my own vet clinic. Of all the animals, I like cats the most, because they are a bit like that. Some cats are secretive, some outgoing, some lazy, and so on...they represent the spectrum of our traits much better than other animals.-
The Science Journalist shifts the documentation, organizing it after the vet's statement
-Could you, Veterinarian Jordan Gachet, tell us more about this unusual bet between you and the Dean of the Veterinary Faculty?-
-With pleasure. The bet was made about 5 years ago when I wanted to prove that I was the best cat expert in the entire Grand Duchy of Japuile. I passed the theory test, but I upped the ante even more. Within 5 years, I had to breed my own breed, which in 5 years will have 25 live individuals, for the fact that I will accept every pro bono for a year. Not that I wouldn't do it, only in special cases, such as the need for an emergency operation or putting a beloved pet to sleep, which is the most difficult not only for the owners of these animals, but also for me.-
The Science Journalist looked surprised, because he had just found confirmation of this information in the Veterinary Dean's Office. Losing words for a moment, he went back to talking.
-What species have you bred and kept alive?-
-Jaron. Official statistics say that there are as many as 5,000 in the entire Grand Duchy of Japuile - 25 were originally supposed to be, but I don't even know when my species managed to grow so large. And here is my personal favorite, a mix between all the races available in Japuile.-
