PRIME MINISTER VISITS KOSKEAU**
Prime Minister Qimmiq Kivalliq is visiting Koskeau to meet with their leader, John Doe, in order to improve diplomatic relations. The meeting will be held in Koskeau's capital. Most citizens of the two countries are happy that foreign relations are improving, though, some are a little skeptical about the visit. The leaders of the two nations are planning to start free movement between Dairana and Koskeau, as a way to improve relations. The visit hopes to improve stability and peace between both nations, and begin a strong alliance between the countries. The visit will also provide understanding between the two cultures.
DAIRANA PLANS TO EXPAND
It is a known fact that Dairana is quite cold, being very icy and having little coastline that doesn't lead to ice. Though, the Dairai government has announced that they are planning to expand their land to gain warmer coastline, and even establish research stations on a glacier island inside the Kabal Floe. It will expand the population as well as provide more suitable living conditions for the people of Dairana. After this expansion, however, the Dairai Census Bureau has called for a census ten days after the expansion is complete.
*COAL POWER PLANTS TO BE REPLACED**
Dairana has aimed to use more eco-friendly energy production, rather than using coal as a means of electricity. Dairana has recently made the decision to begin building wind turbines, hydroelectric dams, and solar farms. So far, 12 out of the 20 provinces have already began construction. The government is hoping the other eight provinces will do the same soon. Not only will this be a more eco-friendly option, but will also help to reduce pollution within the nation. This will mark the beginning for a cleaner Dairana.
ALPSKAMESTO CAPITAL PROPOSAL
The current capital of the Alpenheim province, Seestadt, may or may not lose its province capital status. People of Alpenheim have question why Seestadt is the capital, as it is smaller than Alpskamesto. And people don't like how a city that has a high crime rate along with a bland look, is the capital of the province. The City of Alpskamesto, however, has a crime rate lower than the provincial average, and the city is more pleasing to the eye than that of Seestadt. The Alpenheim government is expected to hold a referendum soon, but they have not released the date of when it will take place as of yet. If the referendum passes, it will take up to 2 months to transition, as well as build a new capitol building.
