A Message from Kyldigard to the World

You recieve a letter, bound in silk and dropped on your desk. It says:
"Today marks a historic day in our country. The traditionally isolated Commonwealth of Kyldegardian Cantons announces for the first time in its nearly 1000 year history, our country has legally opted to open itself up to foreign diplomacy with the outside world in a historic council vote. Grand Warden Gijeng Kujij invites representatives of all peoples from around the world to our great capital city of Muremysct for the first World Open, a diplomatic ceremony and festival that we plan to hold every few years from now on in order to strengthen relations with foreign powers and both learn more about their cultures and share our own. We welcome all nations that wish to initiate contact with us and to all businesses, governments, and organisations that wish to aid us in our quest for technological advancements and magical ascendancy. Please come visit!"

On a rainy evening, there is a lavender letter found on the desk of an Kyldigard official. When opened, the recipients experienced sunny fields of rosy flowers and an odor of burnt mint. Then they remembered an event that never happened. A memory of a sad and lonely birthday night. One can remember how birthday card read: "The Season of Indefinite Color is delighted and accepts your invitation." Kyldigard would receive a variety of colorful visitors from the lands of the Unbound Rainbow, Indefinite Color. They would bring their art, their culture, their eccentricities, their color.

We've send a pigeon with a letter in his claws, he is soon comming to Kyldigard. The letter says: "You've done a great choise, you could make New Friends that you never expected to have, and it would be a pleasure to be your friend". Our Dictator will be here with pleasure to this event.

Far off the horizon of where the sun should have been, was blocked out by a fleet of supersonic jets. they fly in perfect formation over the city, and from what little could be seen the bomb bay doors are open. But no bombs came out, but rather glitter and letters fell out. All the letters had the same thing written on them. "Welcome to the world stage friends! Please take our airshow as a sign of respect and celebration!"

A psuedodragon - a tiny, nonsapient dragon about a foot in length - flies through a door and onto the desk of someone in the Kyldigard government. Attached to one of its front legs is a capsule with a letter, reading:

Greetings to the Confederation from the Sixth Council. We accept your invitation. Let this be the start of a long and peaceful relationship between our peoples.

Also in the capsule are a few maps showing the location of Jikoshak and its subregions, and a single bright red dragon scale.

The Prime Minister of Dairana has sent a letter to the leader of Kyldigard, saying, "We highly appreciate your invitation to your nation. Let this mark the beginning of new possibilities". The King has also written a letter, it reads, "It is an honor to be invited to your country, and my Prime Minister and I will be here as soon as possible".

Ministry of the State - The United Kingdom of the Realms of Prestore and its Dependencies

We kindly appreciate the letter from Kyldegard. The Ministry of the State will accept the invitation for diplomatic forum. I, Minister of the State, Remus Bjernshire, will attend the ceremony, accompanied by Governor George Tardin, Alfax the Druid, and Ministry staff. Prestore looks forward to what this ceremony will bring and to the cooperative relationship that the United Kingdom can have with the United Cantons.

Office of Civil Relations - Okur-Federation of the S'Lanter

Salut! We have received your generous invitation and we gladly accept. As the Okur-Federation is a nation that celebrates diversity, we will send a party of Okurluns from the Office that best represent the collection of Holts that preside the lands of the S'Lanter. We intend to send ten individuals. Foremost is the Deputy Officer of Civil Relations, Azeomu Arkady. She will be the Okur-Federation's eyes and ears for this ceremony and gladly take part of the festivities. We plan to come bearing gifts!

As the Admiral is about to resign herself to her quarters, a quick-footed officer catches her collar.

'News from our survey. Signal Squadron insists you have a look.' As he finishes, he hastily reaches out a letter from his jacket pocket. 'Have a look...'

As soon as she snatches it from his hand, the young officer disappears back to his post. And Ÿrÿn turns to finish the march to her chambers whilst slowly reading the peculiar note. Almost as she reaches her bed, she suddenly, with a wide grin, spins on her heel, straightens her shako, and buttons up her old, faithful greatcoat.

Soon, another voyage shall commence, as orders call in from below to the venerable survey wing. Engines roar on the icy airfield, and in a moment's notice the gigantic gunship lifts from the ground. Shortly to arrive from the North, though concealed and in secrecy. The attendants would do better without a looming silhouette blotting the sky.

The letter returned is much less extravagant, but no less intriguing. The paper is thick and off-white, suggesting it was potentially recycled. The message's concise and clear handwriting of a deep blue ink reads:

"To whomever of the Commonwealth of the Kyldegardian Cantons this letter may concern,
Diplomatic opportunities and diplomatic festivities are a rare treat that should hardly be passed over. It is with great interest that we receive your letter. We apologize if this response should arrive at a time later than expected; the systems for sending messages great distances haven not been a priority, until now. Expect our attendance to this fair. Perhaps the mixing of our perspectives with yours will breed something greater for the both of us.

Stamped in the bottom right corner of the paper is a seal, presumably what is the seal of Metamora. The ink is profoundly vibrant, suggesting this particular stamp does not get to see much action.
