Due to unknown technical problems, the other party cannot reply to this thread. So I rewrote the story I wrote on DM here
SIERRA
Artyem in his green uniform decorated by a couple of badges and medals, bows down 45 degrees to show respect:
"Yes Mr. Gustave, my engineers have put this weapon through many months of tests and reviews, and I am confident to say that as long as you follow the instructions and practice trigger discipline, it will be easy to handle just like a conventional assault rifle."
Gustave Manoury deftly pressed a button, causing a portion of the wall to transform into a designated testing area for the weaponry. Before the committee, a bulletproof pane with metallic fixtures appeared. Positioned at testing area was a human-shaped mannequin, impeccably simulating the mechanical and chemical attributes of the human body, standing rigidly and motionless.
Mr Gustave Manoury addressed Mr. Artyem Talgakyn, "Mr. Artyem Talgakyn, we are now proceeding with the weapon test. This mannequin, designed to faithfully replicate the mechanical and chemical characteristics of the human body, will serve as an ideal subject for both your evaluation and ours. Please proceed with your shots. If the need arise for additional mannequins, please do not hesitate to inform us."
Artyem puts down his long briefcase and opens it, revealing a completed model of the FK-103. He assembles the gun as he's explaining every single step on how to do it, then loads the gun with an energy cartridge.
"Alright, so first you have the receiver with the stock, just push the handguard into the extension like this... click. Then, we put the mag into the loading chamber, with it's connection arms facing the ports correctly. You must make sure that it makes a click sound when loaded, otherwise the gun will not work when fired."
Keeps his finger off the trigger and flicks the safety
"Finally you can flick the safety mechanism to safe or fully automatic. For the safety of everyone involved in this exhibition and to avoid potential lawsuits, I will not use the auto-fire mode, as my physical limitations does not allow me to do that. Now let me show you the devastating effects of an energy rifle."
Artyom aims at the mannequin's head, sets the power to 50% and fires a single shot. An oval-shaped ball of energy with a long trail behind, exits the barrel at a speed of 860m/s and instantly tears open the mannequin's head. Fake blood mixed with pink liquid splattered everywhere, leaving part of the skull exposed. Artyom lets the coolant inside do it's job, then disassembles the gun and places it's parts back to where they were and closes the briefcase.
"That was just one bullet fired, and at half potential. Alright, now that I've demonstrated the mechanisms of the FK-103, feel free to give me opinions."
The Pythian Union Patent Committee closely observed the demonstration of the energy weapon, from assembly to firing at the human mannequin, which unfortunately didn't fare well.
Mr. Gustave Manoury once again pressed the same button, concealing the entire testing area and the bulletproof glass. As a result, the room returned to its standard appearance, which, while less futuristic, was more visually pleasing.
Maintaining a professional tone, Manoury expressed his admiration "I must commend your remarkable skills in handling the FK-103 SIERRA. We are confident it will revolutionize not only the military market but many other sectors as well. However, before we render our judgment, we kindly request additional information. Are there currently any legal regulations in your country or region regarding weapons of such advanced technology? Additionally, what technologies and measures have been implemented to minimize the impact on the natural environment, both during production and operation of this weapon?"
"Thank you sir. As for the regulations, only specialized personnel and elites who have passed through background and mental checks are allowed to use the weapon. We also have integrated circuit chips into every copy made. If one of the guns go missing, then we'll be able to track it down and repossess by force. Furthermore, the entire weapon would be rendered useless if the chip is damaged, and we have a databank to disable it at any time. And for the production line, we have both automated and manual lines, the cost to produce one FK-103 is relatively cheap since it doesn't require traditional magazines to be carried with, and most of the parts are made of durable alloys, forged from the depths of Azeria through less polluted methods."
The Pythian Union Patent Committee finds the military innovation worthy of granting a patent for a period of three years.
