The financial-political crisis in Kyldigard, which has been so heavily censored by the oligarchic "Council of Wardens", has come to a breaking point in the past five months. After the opening of diplomatic connections to outside nations, the nation has struggled with foreign interference, international criminal invasion, and foreign sickness. Although closing off connections to the outside world again seemed inconceivable to the vast majority of people, after a foreign journalist revealed poverty, government corruption, and governmental oppression in what many are calling a "shadow class system" this past Baksc (Pax), the Council, now with their Grand Warden position in a state of interregnum after the retirement of Gijeng Kujij, declared an "emergency government" and suspended all foreign diplomacy, trade, and democratic processes, clearly showing that the supposedly "libertarian" government of Kyldigard was not unprepared to overstep its bounds. After only days, the Council of Wardens declared martial law and declared the Constitution void, appointing a new Grand Warden by the name of Euguth Detax. Detax ruled for approximately six days before she was assassinated by a Gym Kluk radical. Anti-government propaganda and fervor were spreading like wildfire. Sensing weakness, a popular celebrity and rising star in the underground political scene by the name of Uaderrim Vijaroscij, called upon his supporters to take up arms against the rogue Council. What the media expected to happen was a full-length civil war. What the media was not expecting was the realization of a nearly uncontested and almost bloodless takeover by the overwhelmingly supportive nation that simply wanted to rid themselves of the council and its corporatist corruption of what had once been a promising, union-led government form.

The people of Kyldigard have largely acknowledged that the syndicalist/unionist experiment ever since the end of racial segregation had, in fact, failed. Although Uaderrim Vijaroscij has technically not lifted the military rule of the country yet, he plans on restructuring the nation into a true democracy following a less decentralized model, as well as beginning a series of economic recovery plans to relieve the weary and broken peoples of the nation before officially drafting a new Constitution for the nation and reopening democratic elections to the public. A pragmatic left-wing nationalist and a Rrynjr racial minority (one of the many ethnic groups of Kyleth) from the long-suffered southern regions of the country, Vijaroscij plans to rid his country of corruption, economic division, poverty, hunger, and crime, and steer Kyldigard back into a position of sovereignty from foreign powers. The colonization of the east will still continue, however this time with an ideal of new, clean, utopian eastern cities to be built and lived in by settlers, rather than forcing pioneers to go it alone, which will surely encourage emigration, especially out of impoverished and overpopulated areas.

(Vijaroscij's government has allowed for a reopening of limited foreign diplomacy as well as freedom of the press, at least for now.
We also call upon foreign doctors to come aid out own doctors in curing an unknown bacterial disease with a moderate fatality rate that has spread from somewhere foreign into the capital cantons. We will compensate these doctors fairly.)

As of the twenty-sixth of the month of Umbra, a new constitution known as the National Charter (Gjukar Njatsuel) has been signed into law, replacing the antiquated and failed Constitution. Kyldigard strips away the old, decentralized, near-corporatocratic model of government under the Confederation and officially proclaims here today, the creation of a new state, for a new people, against a new world.

Today marks the beginning of the Federated Councils of Kyldigard (urr Koletsif Vejerrij dij Kyldigard; K.V.K.), a government by the people for all people, against the tyrants, the greedy, and the manipulation of outside forces. We are now taking our stand as a sovereign, democratic republic, and will no longer tolerate malicious entities trying to break down our society. To all nations which desire true cooperation, we commend you, but to any enemies out there, we will no longer sit idly by and watch you try to break our spirits from afar. If you oppose the sovereignty of the Federated Councils of Kyldigard, there is no guarantee that you will survive the onslaught of pure fury our great and mighty nation will provide! Hail Kyldigard!

On other topics, the new government is officially open for business and is happy to engage in peaceful diplomacy with all nations if such things are asked for.

Uaderim Vijaroscij, a religious minority, has decisively ended the Relejenist domination of politics with a declaration of state secularism in the new National Charter, as well as a statement on officially legally recognizing transgender individuals within our borders. We are also revising our tourism and citizenship laws in order to better accommodate outsiders. We are also slashing the disgusting age of consent laws within this nation, raising the age of consent from 11 to 16, to protect the children of this nation from predatory action. We are also raising all other adulthood-related legal ages to 16 as well, although some such as alcohol are still going to be treated as misdemeanors unless dealing to a minor is the crime. We are also cracking down on the massive, spreading opioid market (whose true originator is unknown ~~but our spies in numerous countries believe it to be either Tepror or one of its neighbors~~) and also cracking down on crime, foreign espionage, and internal corruption.

The economy will be nationalized and brought under public ownership, and the unions nationalized and publicized as well, to allow for better regulation and the eradication of poverty and homelessness/unemployment.

The Council of Wardens is hereby abolished, replaced with a unitary-federal hybrid government in which only some laws are controlled by cantons, and most others are controlled by the federal government, headed by the head of government and state, the Premier of Kyldigard, the first of which (who won 99% of the vote in a public flash election) is the great Uaderim Vijaroscij.

We are also reopening the institution of political partisanship, although none have really begun to spring up as of yet. We in Kyldigard value freedom of speech and freedom of expression.

The people will vote for their Cantonal Council, a parliamentary system, which in turn will vote for the nation's Premier, or vote them out.
