The pulsing beats of the manufacturing districts continued everstill. The blistering heat of the forges spewing from every area of the district, never letting up for a moment. The workers constantly monitoring the cooling pipes to ensure a high waterflow . "Alright, break time, go get your fix, then lets get back in five" says the foremen over the intercom. His always calm demeaner breaking through the distortion of the intercom.
The workers slowly congregate to the break area, chit chatting among themselves and having a good laugh. While the workers file into the break room the safety inspectorate enters to give quick look over. One of the inspectors pulls his radio from his clipboard and says "be advised we have a small fire in the control hall, finish your rounds and prepare for a vacuum". The inspectors give a conformation over the radio and quickly finish their rounds. The fire grows a fair amount but nothing too deadly, the inspectors file out, the lockdown doors slam shut and a countdown starts. "Vacuum down in Ten, Nine, Eight, Seve-" A large explosion rattles in the area. The inspectors look at each other, then back at the cameras, but before they could register where the explosion started the door is blown off! A fury of flame rushes out of the room.
Quickly the inspectors run away from the area. On inspector near the room yelled into his radio, "Capital District Command this is Safety Inspectorate 28, we have what appears to a catastrophic fire in one of the subdistrict wings, requesting fire management." The radio falls dead, only the fire making any noise, then his radio lights back to life. "Inspecterate 28, request recived, sending two detachments to you. Stand clear of the fire and evacuate all workers." Hearing this order, the inspector quickly works his way to the break area, the fire still spewing from the door. The way to the breakroom wasn't too far but was still a short distance from the work area. The inspector breaks through the doors, radio in hand, "You all need to evacuate, someone messed up and we have a fire in the workspace." The workers laugh and make some comments on who did it, but then the radio sounds again. "This is Fire Management Detachment 2, speaking for both squads, we need more manpower down here. The fire is proving to be a little much."
The entire workforce hears this, the laughing dies down to a faint whisper as they increase their pace actually seaming to be worried. Another explosion is heard in the distance, the alarms start blaring. "Attention, this is not a drill, Sectors one and two are to evacuate now. I repeat this it not a drill, please make way for Fire Management." The workers then quickly scramble to get out of there. The fire was quickly spreading to the break area. The workers fight to get out of the room. Thankfully they do, but the fire made its way to the break area, causing another explosion. This time the explosions sent shockwaves causing workers to fly into the flames and walls. The inspector tries to rush in and help them but a Fire Safety Unit (FSU) quickly grabbed him and tore him from the flames. "Don't worry sir, we got it from here." He and his crew quickly run in and save the inital blast victims. The burn scars are very much apparent. The inspector goes on his radio and says, "Inspectorate 28, what's our status?" Dead silence from the radio, the FSU repeats, "Inspectorate 28 what is the status?" Silence once more, "does anyone have a status?" Then a FSU member goes on the radio, "28 we have found some inspectors in the fire, we don't know if they are yours but we are pulling them back to the Sector three." The inspector lowers his raido and looks around him, carnage and confusion all around. Then he goes on the radio, "Central Command, this is Inspectorate 28, permission to assume regional command over Sector 1?" Radio static continues, with no one talking, until... "Inspectorate 28 you are green to assume control. Lead our men to the morning."
