The north-heading wind has been rolling a small waves on the shores of Plózoň. Tens of Thousands of people, both dock workers, ship crew, and many onlooker came to the city's docks, to see the majestic ship depart. It was the largest ship ever build in Lorzepk, large enough to carry over 2 and half thousand people and cargo, while thin enough to be able to go from one end of the Jezerná river system, to the other.
It was an engineering masterpiece, fitted with both steam expansion and steam turbines.
With its proud 20,000 GRT, over 200 meters in lenght, over 20 in beam, and over 16 thousand horsepower, it was on a path to become the flag ship of all Lorzepk.
Dock workers and crew got to job loading cargo on the ship, cargo to build a new colony in the most-west outpost of Lorzepk on the Western great lake. There was also scientific cargo, ammunition for the 5 cannons on board in the worst of emergencies.
The ship was fully loaded after around 3 days of loading. Soon enough, the whistles whistled, the people waved, and the grand ship departed. She joined a convoy and started heading westward.
Trials showed that she could reach over 22, maybe as much as 25 knots, she will prove herself now.
This is the beginning of a great ship, HQS Perseverance.
