After facing backlash and pressure from the general public resulting from Tepror's recent aggressive actions on it's neighbors, Grand Arbitress Mekora have decided to pass a bill that would allow Azeria to withdraw from the economic alliance - the Pythian Union on the 3rd of March, 1614, and will be effective by 1st of June, 1615. The outcome and how successful it goes can only be told in the future.
Mekora has also stated that: "Azeria is a peaceful trading nation, it always has been and will be for the next millennia. We do not condone the genocidal atrocities that Tepror, the very founding member of the PU, who've promised us economical benefits.. It does not sit right with me that Azerian be given wealth just so it can stay silent. Azeria was founded on the basis of freedom and justice, and if Tepror doesn't respect that, we will have to part ways with them. I believe that this is the right course of action for Azeria and it's people, we might lose a part of the economy, but this will double it up even further, now that we've established trade routes with Crown Royal and Great Karthia."
