Meanwhile in the temporary coastal settlement of Meischaschi in the Sea of Gold coasts of Crown Royal
Meischaschi has arose to be the largest makeshift Sheyeru settlement in Crown Royal's Sea of Gold coasts.
The settlement itself is crude and can be hardly described permanent. It is composed primarily of animal hide tents and wattle and daub huts. The settlement is littered by campfires, braziers, torches, lean-tos and sheds. There are many meat and animal hide hung in drying frames. There are also many wooden posts dug into the ground. Betraying its primary function as a resting stop for fishing and sailing are the jutting wooden piers across the coasts, dugout canoes in the beach, barrels and lots of piles of fish in the coast.
Birds solemnly fly, flutes and orchestral-sounding music can be heard in the distance (BGM: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=laOHHEU4m14) while a lone Catgirl thinks philosophically in a high cliff overlooking the new settlement.
Previously the migrants of Sheyer have no organized authority when they came into this new world. There was complete chaos and disorder at first, then authority was haphazardly delegated into a group of "Strong Catgirls" who are just randomly found anywhere. The long sea voyages that boats undertook meant that there have to be base camps and resting places for sailorgirls. This inevitably led to a central base camp where everyone congregates.
In the central base camps there arose circles of Cartographers who are experts in maritime navigation and cartography. Sailorgirls would consult with these Cartographers' Circles on necessary preparations to undertake for the beginning of a new sailing journey as well as tips and instructions for fishing and navigation. The Cartographers' Circle necessarily became the default new authority at least for the Sea of Gold migrant fleet, along with a council of eldresses which is close to the Cartographers' Circle.
A room in a wattle and daub hut is shown with wooden tables and chairs with wooden plates and jugs of beer in them. The hut is unusually spacious and large. Lots of Catgirls are drinking. On the mud walls of the hut is a wooden board with many maps drawn on it.
"Shyeimie would be a good cartographer! She knows how to read the waves and the birds and the clouds! Nya Nya!", the catgirl then furiously and speedily puts her mug of beer in the table, making a loud sound. "Shyenyi would also be a good one! She can read the waves of the ocean currents and know the stars in the sky! Nya! Nya!", another catgirl then angrily put her mug down in the same fashion. The "Nya Nya" is always angrily shouted. A ruckus happens in the drinking hut as the Catgirls furiously discuss their new choice of Cartographers for the Cartographers' Circle.
The Catgirls who were drinking beer then went outside and soon, everyone in the camp was embroiled in the same chaotic and unruly discussion. Sounds of angry and furious "Nya" can be indiscriminately heard among the chatter of the catgirl crowd.
The lone Catgirl who has been philosophically staring at the skies and the view of the camp for some time while birds fly around her in a cinematic fashion saw the unruly crowds of Catgirls. She went down and after listening to the Catgirls for a while, she was able to understand what was happening. Hundreds of Catgirls now congregated in the same pit where leather was tanned, which made a noxious and toxic smell.
"You choose Shyeime? You choose Shyenyi? You choose Hyobu? The entirety of the fleet has to know about this if we are to talk who are the cartographers who can read the patterns of the clouds, where the birds fly, where the winds blow, and where the waves of the seas swell the best! The sisters of a clan cannot decide and talk only amongst themselves if the entire fleet goes to the circle to consult the gyidofu (situation) of the skies and seas to guide them to sail and go to their next journeying.
Chika, Shyuffy and Yuri, gather groups of sailorgirls amongst you to go to the camps to tell that everyone must go here to talk who are the cartographers who can read the gyidofu of the skies and seas the best! Gather lots and tens of canoes and boats among you, and gather lots of girls to row and sail your boats, then go to all the camps, boats and fleets of all the sisters in the Cove (Sea of Gold) whereever they may be and tell them "Nyanchi, the strong woman from Meischaschi has sent us to go to you and has told all of you to go to Meischaschi so that we can talk who are the Cartographers with a gift of reading the gyidofu (situation) of the natural situation." And when you go among them, let them follow you so that they might not be lost and know the way to go to Meischaschi."
Cinematic music plays louder in the distance (just because) (BGM: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=laOHHEU4m14), and after some time, Nyanchi (her name) looked at the horizon where dozens of big barges and canoes can be seen sailing to afar to follow her instructions.
The election of the Cartographers' Circle will take place in Meischaschi, and thousands of Catgirls will take part.
