The Honor Guard of Tepror

On a mild spring day in 1491AR, Rexovis Jovis III is looking over possible candidates for the Honor Guard. It was the result of political friction within the Royal Guards, with some guards have stated anonymously that they wouldn't protect the Rex if he made decisions that they went against their ideals. This had already happened twice within the last 50 years and once resulting in the death of a monarch. There had been numerous threats against Jovis III but none have come to fruition. Nevertheless, Jovis would discuss with his ministers the right Honor Guard.

"Your Majesty, I suggest a detachment of guards from the Kerusian Steel Guards. They are highly effective and are one of the best guard forces in the Magna Sea Region." States Minister of Foreign Affairs Henrius Jako

"No, I don't think they will fit our needs Jako. What we need Your Majesty is a guard that knows armed combat, not policing." States Minister of the Interior Mikal Dorovic "We should seek the Kethite Guards, they have combat experience from fighting off invaders for centuries. "

"Dorovic, you seem to forget while yes, that is true, they haven't been invaded for sometime now. I think we need to look towards the people of the stars." States Minister of Exterior Leon Troves while taking a sip of his tea " I have heard reports of a guard called the Death Watch. They are from Tepror and have a good wrap sheet with dealing with dissent. They can protect you while rooting out the ones that wish to destroy us."

Jovis pondered for a few minutes, looking at all the benefits and disadvantages that one brings to an Honor Guard. After a few minutes of silence, Jovis spoke "I would like to see what the Death Watch has to offer. Please, get me in touch with their leader"

In the lands of Tepror the Death Watch is almost a legend among their people. 'Defenders of the undefendable' some call them, but it's just a group of partisans who just want to safeguard the future of the Skimtari. Even in the present year, no one knows where the Death Watch is based, no one even knows who runs the organization. To the bane of the MoSs, no one may ever know where they are.

But their attempt to get into contact with someone of authority did not on deaf ears. Someone did pick up to listen to the king's plight. the conversation was short and to the point, the operator on the skimtaris end not bothering with formalities or the such. Once the call ended a new task force was formed at the outskirts of their base of operations. "Why do we have to go protect some foreign king?" One of the new guards asks. "Given the chance they might just be another tyrant who is just using us as another wall." Their captain holds his hand up while glaring at the guardsmen. "When the Watch was formed I don't remember it just being a skimtari organization, if someone needs defense we will defend them. Now shut up and load up"

He gives the guardsmen a quick smack across the head before they all load up on their transport and make their way to Nova Solaris.

A few days later

In the early morning, a C.A.O (Control Air Officer) from Military Base Alpha Cora received a transmission from a Skimtari transport ship, saying "The Death Watch is arriving in an hour, prepare our arrival". The C.A.O contacted the Imperial Residence to inform about the arrival of the foreign guards. The Rex immediately left the palace to meet with the Death Watch at the Military Base. As soon as the Rexovis (Emperor) arrived, the transport was in the airspace near Daegol and only 15 minutes away from the base, and was preparing the landing.

"Nervous sire?" asked an aide
"I haven't met these figures and they are quite literally out of this world. I don't know anything of how they communicate or speak. So yes, I am nervous" replied Rexovis Jovis III

They waited for the transport to land in order to met them...

Then in a gust of wind, the transport swooshes onto the landing area, and softly, but with extreme winds blowing everything away, lands on the pad. Then 10 freakishly tall (8'2) creatures adorning wildly different uniforms walk out from the transport. On their shoulders, they all adorn different patches but the same flag patch is just atop it.

"Howdy ho friends! Looking at your lavish dress wear and aids surrounding you, I assume you're the person we have been called to protect!" He says while giving a friendly salute. "I am Operations Director Fq̇'q̇z'kzh, If you don't want to bother even attempting to pronounce my name I advise you to call a japulian. They know how to pronounce our names and are now very respectable."

The Solarian group were astonished by their uniforms and height. Even the tallest person there, 7'1, had to look up at them to see their eyes. Jovis was a mere ant to them and he felt that way as well.

"So Operations Director, I do not know how to pronounce your name but I will sure to learn how to in the near future."_ Jovis smirks and continues " I hope you will serve me well, my grandfather was brutally assassinated by rouge agents and hope they don't strike again now with your protection. I will invite you to the Palace, but please be mindful of the doors, they are only 7 feet and 5 inches tall at most. I'm sorry for the inconvenience."

"Oh dont worry your little human head about a thing. We can help defend you and your... government I would assume? From anything." Then he moves to the side showing the other 9 skimtari he brought with him. "We didn't know exactly what you wanted, considering you where absolutely undescriptive when you contacted us. BUt we just brought a nice array of Watchmen for your approval." He says, his voice conveying that he really doesn't care if you approve of the lineup or not.

"Flame eaters, Dust eaters, and Sky Reavers.Just some of the people I chose to be here. The fire eaters, well, if I have to explain what their deal is I fear your education system. Dust eaters are SpecOp Specialists, if you want someone gone they can do it, assuming its nighttime, and sky reavers... they are pilots, not much else.
