"Uh huh!?!" Tillmen says, breaking from the trance of trying to read his handwriting. "Oh no, defense contracts are more like bribes. It's more on our end because they are the Herwan pira—actually, don't worry about it. It's just a written agreement that we are paying some people not to raid our convoys." He gives a goofy smile as he quickly throws his paper away to look at the presentation.
They are paying attention to the trade plight of the city, very secretly drawing details of automata so they can use it in Fallshaven. but for the most part, they are giving their undivided attention. Then finally they pipe up when she talks about the construction materials.
"Oh you looking for those construction materials, well thanks to our exclusive..." Tillmen glances at King for a moment, then back at Lizzie. " 'Exclusive' trading rights with tepror... We can do more than supply a constant flow of construction goods, we can flood your market with them!" TIllmen somehow gets giddy as King takes out another paper, but this one is blank so Tillmen writes on it, for King its entirely legible. But for literally anyone else it's absolute chicken scratch
"So history for you, tepror is extraordinarily polluted, due to mining and factories and whatever. Real activists of brute forcing their problems with sheer industrial power, does it work? Yes, but does it help them with trade? No, so we are exploiting it for our benefit, and the benefit of the world." He chuckles a little bit, not like its a joke but he just chuckles. "Anyways we can get you more than you could dream of, speaking of.." Tillmen leans forward slightly. "What if we bump up that international allocation to 15? We can even put you on the HCC's priority listing, aka we send the materials to you first and with our fastest options."
