A few days have passed since the end of the Domare War, and the ashes had only finally begun to settle. Military police patrol the streets of Domare while the small towns in the countryside remain in ruins. Many Domarians died in the conflict, and this fact is felt in every little part of Domarian society. The locals are left questioning what Auredia has in store for them, especially since all they've seen so far was the overwhelming garrisons in their former country.
And while all militaristic resistance had been utterly crushed by Auredia in the war, some tensions are still boiling. Widowed women stare at the garrisoned soldiers with utter contempt. Fathers who lost their sons grumble and swear vengeance, and all the while, Auredia had done little to fix their situation. An organization of old veterans and those who survived the war had quickly propped up, focused on achieving Domare independence from Auredia, either legally, or via rebellion. For now though, as Domare rebuilds within the Auredian Republic, they will be unable to do any political actions to achieve their vision of a free Domare.
They will bide their time and wait.
