OFFICIAL PRESS STATEMENT
Office of the President of the Republic of Ikobitestan
Printed by the Grove Daily Herald: Ikobite's National Newspaper Publication
"I denounce war. War has scarred us all.
My mother, who passed during the height of our civil war, only knew violence; from the moment she was born, to her very last breath. She never saw peace.
We shall not allow for this to ever happen again. Not to our own people, and not to our close friends in Herwa, to whom we are deeply indebted.
The war is not my muse. It does not inspire me. It disgusts me.
We will answer with care, with courage, and with kindness. That is how we honor the past—by refusing to repeat it.
And in the spirit of the Tenfold Law of the Land:
For the peace and kindness Herwa has once given us, we now give tenfold in return.
Not in fire nor steel, but in healing, in food, and in human hands reaching out."
The Republic reaffirms its commitment to non-militaristic support, dispatching medics (all volunteers acting on their own will), supply workers, and community aid brigades to tend to those impacted by the Herwan conflict. Relief ships from other nations will begin traveling upriver immediately, with overland caravans following shortly after.
Let it be known: we are not warriors—but we will walk through the fire for our friends.
