Several months ago, the Alpha Kahak, Nolastron, declared war on the Empire of Etirania, and since then, giant sandworms have been destroying cities, causing numerous casualties. One day, when Nolastron was almost at the capital, Agan decided to act and went to parley with this Kahak. After that, the Kahaks, under Nolastron's influence, stopped the attacks. Nolastron and his followers were placed in a cave large enough to shelter Kahaks; like the other Alpha Kahaks, each must have their own lair. It is believed that Nolastron changed his mind thanks to the emperor; Agan probably told him that the Sconaphores had changed or something else. But now, Nolastron is no longer a danger to the Empire. As for the crew of the Vautak, they have also been missing for months; it is suspected that they are dead.
A short excerpt from Agan Kagaton and Nolastron's discussion:
" Pleased to meet you, I am Agan Kagaton, I came in peace. If you will listen to me, Nolastron, declared the Emperor.
Nolastron glared at him. He was ready to kill him, but why not listen?
– I'm listening, what do you want to tell me, he replied. I will not forget what your kind did to me centuries ago!
– But that was centuries ago, the world has changed, it's no longer the world of your time. If you continue to sow chaos in my Empire, it could have consequences. Do you know what you want to do after your revenge? I too want revenge, and it's much more powerful, but I'm more concerned about my people for the moment.
– So, what's your revenge?
– Mine? I want revenge on humans, what they did to my ancestors. I won't forget, and I will kill every last human, except for those who live in multi-species nations. I'm not going to exterminate them, though.
– I'll help you, but I want you to promise me one thing. That you won't harm the Kahak, that you'll let me live. I've already caused you enough damage.
