The Herwan Federal Assembly was never known for being a renounced institution, it was know for either being extremely boring, with the proceedings just being committee hearings of budgetary review and negotiation, or unexplainably heated. But the weeks following the Winter Elections, suddenly ratings for news organizations actually showing the proceedings actually skyrocketed, these were unprecedented time for the Federation and her People. After the Fallen Griffin crisis the HUP had been ousted from government, still winning the most seats, but not enough for their usual comfortable majority, losing to the Red Skies Coalition with the HDL leading the charge and getting the seat of Prime Director, and with the HUP out of power, the HDL had begun attacking everything most herwans hated, and they especially hated. Starting with the foreign policy.
The speaker of the assembly smacks his gavel. "THIS BOARD WILL SUSPEND, WE WILL MAINTAIN ORDER, SERGENT AT ARMS PLEASE COMPELL INCITERS TO CEASE." She keeps banging her gavel, as the Sargent at Arms and his grabbing dissidents on both side and leading them outside to calm down, with every legislature calmed two more getting pulled. "Madam Speaker, its clear to the HUP, the rightful party meant to be leading herwa that this coalition was only formed for them to break the trust of the herwan voters. We had instituted the best free market principles that this world had ever asked for, and now they wish to dismantle it. However i must say i must say." Xallios turns around to face the opposition benches, who are jeering at the Government benches to sit down, then glares down the Blue Skies Party. "They are fulfilling the agenda of the HDL, Military bullying of our allies, economic coercion. If i am correct to remember the Blue Skies party actually agreed with our economic policy, hell they wrote it, and now they wish to intervene in other nations? I seriously fear for the next four years."
Xallios takes his seat, and almost immediately a backbencher for the Blue skies shoots up, and the speaker calls him. "True, me and my constituency firmly believe that any sort of intervention direct on economic affairs is a bluntly disrespectful act on the foundation of our nation. But you have blurred the line that now we need to fix, and that sadly means taking a firm hand in our trade, so that while we fix what you broke, we also don't have the nation implode, i-" Then the Prime Director shoots up, and give him a nod. "Oh i believe the Prime director makes to add a point, i yield to the director."
Prime Director Wern gives the backbencher a slight nod and bow, then glares daggers at Xallios. "In this world of rising tensions, the threats of insurrectionists, terroristic threats YOU had not been fast enough. We regret the incited that transpired, the death of our deep late Prime director and Director of Herwan Affairs is a travesty, they served their nation well. In doing so, we MUST raise our military to not just be a reactionary defensive force of millitas, we must have an army even capable of holding against not just the bugs, but any nation, from all directions. Director Ashton has made it adamantly clear his ambition, he has clearly and transparently spelt his plans during and after the elections, he follows the will of the people, and the merchants. Then the assembly explodes into angry jeers and unparlimentairan arguments... proceedings will soon after end, bill being passed 357 ayes, 243 nays and around 100 abstentions. The "Parcae invicta" bills had been passed
