[Quick RP Post]
Nothing much happened in the Crown after the declaration of war, and crossing their borders. Other than the new factories jumpstarting to supply artillery shells and other equipment, everything else felt normal.
In Korolya's outskirts, the soldiers were processed. It's been a long, long while since the Crown had prisoners of war, but seeing as they were going to be integrated into the Korolyan Golden Sea Coalition anyway, it was decided to just 'demilitarize' the soldiers, rather than execute them, much to the dismay of the older sharks. On the note of older shorks, Emperess Kohl apparently is preparing to do something dumb. An emperor does not lead his armies into war from the frontline, and the Crown has abused tactics against nations before that did this, but it appears Kohl is preparing to do exactly that. It's also rumored the Winter Palace has started trying to find potential heirs to the Crown if she 'passes from mysterious circumstances'. All in all, maybe a cup of tea might fix her mind.
While the prisoners were dispersed across the Crown, security across the Crown was increased in general. There seems to be police everywhere, and even trucks of Crown soldiers. It seems they are expecting a counterattack of sorts. The whole nation seemed to be waiting, for some counterattack to push them back a bit.
The streets are only a bit emptier, the cafe's a bit less lively. A lot of people decided to sign up, only enough to put a small dent in the population currently living in the Korolya and nearby cities. it's only about, a hundred thousand people gone from a city of 36 million, or something.
In the countryside, nothing much. The newspapers haven't even bothered to inform everyone, since it always had felt like, the Crown was just doing a small war. It's only mentioned in the third or fourth pages, buried under local events and news.
All in all, anticlimactic. What the Crown expected to happen, some demonstrations or some other sort of civil unrest, but instead they got nothing at all. There's war support, far more than expected too. If it did draw out, the Crown would be able to force it for a few more years.
