The General Director, Dany Morel, smiled warmly while discreetly observing the signs of fatigue on Admiral Sukol’s face. After a brief greeting with the Prince of Magadan, Lord Admiral of the Crown Navy, he suggested a short break.
"Let’s sit down and rest for 25 minutes. That’s how long our afternoon break lasts – I believe you’ll find it refreshing" Dany Morel said with a smile.
"We are honored by your presence and kind words, Your Highness. Once the break is over, we’ll proceed to finalize the agreement. As you might have noticed, the Artanian Shipyard has undergone some recent changes. Our philosophy, ‘First the leap, then the step,’ serves as the foundation of our work – achieving major progress first, then refining the details. Perhaps this principle applies to life as well, doesn’t it, Admiral Sukol?"
The Director smiled, casting a slightly glance at the admiral, as though subtly hinting at something. Meanwhile, he savored his cappuccino, which he found so delicious that it felt almost criminal not to enjoy it fully, even during a conversation. A waiter arrived with orders for Admiral Sukol and the Prince of Magadan – all, of course, without costs.
Skark, a manager from the "Health Development" department, mentioned that while the work at the shipyard was honest and rewarding, it demanded a great deal of patience. The Japuileans, as she noted, were not the kind of people to rush unless there was a compelling reason to do so.
End of the Afternoon Break
After the break, the General Director proposed a short tour of the shipyard. The route was concise yet sufficient to showcase how the ships were built. It was also an opportunity for Admiral Sukol to take her mind off her worries and focus on something different. During the tour, they passed the “Shipyard Sharks” – workers constructing an impressive yacht for an aristocrat, adorned with a family crest. After approximately 25 minutes, everyone returned to settle into comfortable, spacious chairs, tailored to their individual proportions.
"Let’s get down to business," Morel said, retrieving a carefully sealed and signed agreement from their previous meeting. "This is the original agreement from last time. Shall we copy it to save time, or would you prefer to make some changes to the terms?"
