The Chancery of Magocratic Affairs of Sparklia

In the late hours of Monday evening, The High Queendom of Sparkalia was briefed that long time partners in NSLeft and officers of its military The Red Fleet (TRF) were conspiring and mounting an attempt to infiltrate our treaty ally, The Communist Bloc (TCB), in order to undermine the treaties it held with raider-aligned regions, which would of course include Sparkalia. The internal affairs of an ally is typically not a place for us to intervene nor do we typically have the rightful justification to adopt a stance on what goes on in rightfully elected democracies. Not unless outside actors go on to attempt infiltration or subversion to threaten our allies and/or our relations, directly or indirectly. Due to this being true in this situation, we are saddened to compose this statement to clarify what position and stance we hold towards NSLeft and its military TRF.

The High Queendom of Sparkalia expresses great disappointment with the intent of members of NSLeft and officers of TRF. We hold dear and close to us the relationship we have with our treaty ally TCB, especially considering the role the People’s Revolutionary Air Force (PRAF) played during many of our major operations, including Magna Aurea. The conspiracy to undermine our relationships is not something that can go unnoticed nor without mention especially given the Sparkling Army has routinely come to cooperate with and assist NSLeft and TRF. From aiding the efforts to retain control of Solidarity, to coordinating the implementation of a stronghold in Atlanticana alongside the East Pacific, to most recently coordinating the vast majority of the operation in Greater Hanguardian Islands (GHR) despite it not being our target nor our duty to aid beyond sending our reserve forces to support, the High Queendom of Sparkalia has always been happy and willing to aid NSLeft and TRF in whatever way they need.

Nonetheless, despite this unfortunate revelation, we fulfilled our obligation to TRF and transferred custody of GHR to a member of TRF’s admiralty, as previously planned. This is the conclusion of the operation, and of our cooperation with TRF and NSLeft. For the foreseeable future, we will not be working with TRF nor members of NSLeft besides TCB and PRAF, until such time that they express remorse for their actions and demonstrate that they are worthy of trust once more. For the time being we will be taking the following diplomatic actions, effective immediately:

The delegation in Hecq from The Leftist Assembly will have its foreign affairs credentials and access revoked.
Treaty discussions broached by TRF will be withdrawn from and will not be considered.
Our diplomatic delegations to these two entities will be immediately recalled.
Any diplomacy with these two entities will be ceased and will not resume for a period of at least 6 months.

We hope these actions demonstrate our disappointment sufficiently. Sparkalia is more than happy to go above and beyond for our allies, our simple ask is that you do not betray our trust. Still, should there be a demonstration of meaningful change, then at a future date we will happily reconsider our position and relationship with members of NSLeft and TRF.
