The Emperess taps on the now-digital regional map, with various nations marked with glowing arrows over it, with divisions and battleplans on it.
"For the first time in half a century, a real war. Not squashing separatists or blowing up rouge privateers, an actual war. The strategy we'll use is minimizing causalities. Use whatever's at your disposal, asymmetric, lightning, or guerilla. Even instigating insurgencies loyal to us. Get dirty if you have to, but make sure for no witnesses."
One of the generals at the table raises her hand.
"I heard from the Mozdok Heavy Works they retrofitted some GPU MK4's into MK5 prototypes. About two squadrons of armored mechs. Can I field them sometime in this war?"
"Good question. If it's not that resource intensive, we can use the war as a testbed for new weapon systems. What about the joint venture with Yulsan about the GPU MK4's being used as firing platforms?"
"It's going swimmingly, Emperess. The platforms prove to be useful with the guns equipped on them. We can do more tests with the AAM and AAA platforms there too, live fire exercises against real targets."
"I see. Anyone else with doubts?"
Another general raises her hand
"I'd like to use some prototype strategies, Maybe the airship aircraft carrier for next time but for now, airship dropships or firing platforms in the air."
"We already have good planes for the Fallschirmjäger units. Tell me later your whole thing and i'll think of it. And for firing platforms, I think the Glowstone Streitkräfte would be more effective for airship combat."
The rejected general sighs and puts down her hand
A few more rounds of back and forth, some generals being picked for the war, some rejected, and Kohl approving most of the meeting's requests, they get to actually planning it. Using Emperess Kohl's battleplan she drew on a digital software, it was determined that the attack should not follow nearly all rules of war, to make quick work of the other states. But a problem arises.
"There's no casus belli yet." Kohl sighs, "Any of you got any ideas?"
"I heard recently, the South Estathan Republic is having issues with interspecies racism. We could instigate somthing there. There's also the Otrorheim Republic's embezzlement scandals, and how their army is severely fucked for lack of a better word, along with most of their police. I will check with the Korolja-Abteilung für Spionageabwehr if it's possible for our agents to instigate hate crimes against the local sharks and pin the blame on their goverments."
"That will be very helpful for the war effort, thank you very much. I will assume control over the sabotage attempts later."
Emperess Kohl exits the room an hour later. hoping, waiting for it all to go well. if it does all go well, no one will notice two more member states joining the Korolya Golden Sea Commonwealth...
